Santiago Cruz and the Destroyers were awesome, just like Zeppelin USA. General admission tickets were supposedly sold out when we bought ours, but some friends managed to snag some GA tickets two weeks later. We ended up in the middle, approximately 19 rows back, which was the worst seating in the venue. The chairs were toddler/child-sized and uncomfortably close together, leading to a cramped and awkward experience for even regular-sized individuals. This wasn't an amphitheater, just a lawn with a slight incline. Unlike an amphitheater, there were no tiered seating options for better views. We will never return to the Sunset Station lawn for any event. The seating staff was strict during the opening act, but became lax once Santiago began performing, allowing people to sit anywhere. It turned out that some nearby attendees had GA tickets and were disruptive throughout the show, spilling drinks and being loud. Frustrated, we left our seats and stood behind the GA section to catch a glimpse of the concert, albeit from a side view. This was without a doubt the most disappointing concert experience in my 40 years of concert-going. I demand a refund. The prices for concessions were exorbitant: $4 for a 20 oz bottle of Sierra Mist or Pepsi, $6 for a beer, and $3 for a cold hot dog. Surprisingly, they didn't even offer Mountain Dew, a popular Pepsi product.
